• A 2:1 or above in a Maths-related degree is essential

Graduate Maths Trainee Teacher – The Role

From September 2025, you’ll start your teacher training journey with reduced teaching responsibilities, in-depth guidance, and a structured training plan. You’ll receive personalised mentorship from an experienced educator who will help you plan lessons, develop classroom strategies, and gain confidence over time.

Your training will include one day per week of online learning from home, offering time to consolidate your knowledge and reflect on your progress.

As the year unfolds, you’ll gradually take on more classroom responsibility, with your training and skills culminating in QTS qualification by July 2026.
