Staffline is recruiting Shipping and Despatch Operatives in Redruth.

This role is temporary for 12 weeks, leading to permanent employment after this for the right person.

The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour.

This is a part-time role working Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 3.30pm (Possible work on Fridays in the future depending on business needs)

Your Time at Work

As a Shipping and Despatch Operative, your duties include:

- Prioritising customer shipments with demand and company policies.
- Packing and labeling finished products accurately.
- Ensuring products match their order correctly.
- Shipping of despatch sheets on the bespoke system (training provided).
- Entering shipping addresses on multiple courier systems.
- Completing commercial invoices.
- Managing shipping stationery.
- Daily count up.
- Trim and inspect when required.
- Process stock orders when required.
- Any additional duties as requested by your line manager.
- Be comfortable regarding internal audits and able to answer questions relating to shipping and despatch (once full training has been given).
- Liaise with accounts and admin departments regarding orders and shipment rules.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent time management and strong prioritisation skills and you will be IT literate and confident using software solutions (full training will be given).

Applicants will have the ability to manage multiple shipments and work to shipment rules.

There is an element of manual handling to this role, you may also need to stand for periods of time.

Previous experience in using courier systems and shipping packages is desirable, but not essential.
