CompEx Electrician (ATEX/DSEAR) – Hazardous Area Specialist

Location: Manchester
Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 + Benefits

NEOS are working with a well respected Engineering company in the North West who are looking for a  CompEx Electrician to join their specialist team delivering electrical installations and maintenance in hazardous areas. This role primarily focuses on projects within the water industry, with additional work in the energy and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical installations and maintenance in ATEX environments
• Ensure all work complies with BS7671: 18th Edition & BS60079
• Maintain a high standard of safety and compliance in hazardous areas
• Work collaboratively within a team of industry specialists

Requirements:

Essential:

• CompEx Ex01 – Ex04 (Gas & Vapours)
• NVQ Level 3 (Maintenance or Installation)
• 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations
• City & Guilds 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing)
• Industrial experience
• Valid UK driving license

Desirable:

• CompEx Ex05 – Ex06 (Dust)
• PASMA, IPAF, IOSH, CCNSG certifications
