Fantastic opportunity has arisen with a forward thinking Somerset based law firm for a Legal Finance Manager. This is a full-time, permanent role with the option for hybrid/flexible working and a competitive salary. The firm are looking for experienced and dynamic individuals, looking for a long-term role with the firm
 
Role involves:
·Oversea and manage the legal accounting team
·Prepare the monthly management accounts
·Monitor account reconciliation
·Prepare VAT returns
·Supervise production of payroll
·Take responsibility for balance sheet reporting
·Production of financial budgeting forecasts
·Oversea the bank accounts and prepare cash flow forecasts
·Deal with year end accounting
·Certify that statutory financial compliance requirements are met
·Ensure compliance with SRA legal accounting regulations and reporting
 
Required skills:
·Previous experience in a similar role
·Knowledge of legal accounting advantageous
·Prior experience in managing a team is desirable
·Relevant qualification in finance, accounting or a related field
