Business Development Manager

*MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVING LICENSE*

Job Title:          SalesManager

Salary:             £25,000 – £30,000 basic, plus commission &  potential bonus’

Hours:             09:00 – 17:00, M-F

Location:         Office based in Leicester. Travel to clients

Holidays:         28 days (including bank holidays)

JOB TASKS:

• Conduct door-to-door sales visits to potential clients to promote printing services.

(A company van will be provided for client visits)

• Generate leads and identify new business opportunities within the local area.
• Present and explain the range of printing services offered, including personalised items such as mugs, t-shirts, paper, and cards.
• Prepare and provide quotes to potential clients based on their specific printing needs.
• Follow up on quotes to convert them into sales, earning commission on successful conversions.
• Maintain and update a client database with all relevant information and interactions.
• Collaborate with the sales and production teams to ensure client requirements are met and services are delivered to a high standard.

CANDIDATE'S SKILLS:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in a related industry.
• Previous experience of bidding on tenders and writing proposals is advantageous, however this is not essential.
• Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and travel to various locations.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve results and earn commission.
