Job Title: Bid Writer- Construction

Salary: £40K-60K (depending on experience)

Our client, a well-known construction company are currently looking for a Bid Writer to join them on a permanent basis in Norwich.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Bid Writer:

• Analyse client requirements in terms of submission compliance, criteria and scoring
• Preparing tenders for construction works
• Take full control and responsibility for the production of bid responses in line with bid process.
• Liaise with senior managers, collating and leading virtual bid team for opportunities.
• Manage the production of written input and advise on content
• Responsible for preparing and writing detailed commercial documents, such as pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) and tenders so that they can be used to win new contracts.
• Business Development Events
• Business Development Research

Desirable Experience & Qualifications required to work as a Bid Writer:

• Experience in writing technical bids/tender submissions (construction experience preferable)
• Must have excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Must be able to examine and collect data from financial records and technical reports.
