Graduate Science Academic Mentor

• Full-time, long term role starting from September 2025
• Science graduates needed with 1^st and 2:1 degree – Chemistry, Biology and Physics specialisms
• School located near Wallasey – great transport links available from Wirral and Liverpool
• Great role for aspiring teachers
• School offers salaried teacher training routes from September 2026
• Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.45pm
• Earn £520 - 550 per week as a Graduate Science Academic Mentor
• Work closely with underperforming students to help them achieve success

This large and expanding academy school in Wallasey has a long-term vacancy for a Graduate Science Academic Mentor. The school is specifically looking for a science graduate who has a 1^st or 2:1 degree and matching A levels and GCSE’s.

As a Graduate Science Academic Mentor, you will be supporting the science department in the delivery of an exciting curriculum. The school has amazing resources and facilities that you will see in action as part of the teaching process. Science is considered a “Live” subject – ie, on top of live in class experiments - active learning, school trips and leaving the classroom are at the top of the agenda.

If you are interested in teacher training – this school is a part of a teacher training programme and this academic year as a Graduate Science Academic Mentor can be seen as a long term preparation for teacher training from September 2026.
