Mechanical Inspector – Bedford - Automotive

Location: Bedford
Pay Rate: £16.31 per hour
Shifts: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 16:00

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Inspectors to join a busy automotive site in Bedford. This role involves carrying out detailed mechanical inspections on various vehicles, ensuring they meet roadworthiness and safety standards before resale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough mechanical inspections on a range of vehicles
• Identify and report faults, defects, and compliance issues
• Use diagnostic tools where necessary to assess vehicle conditions
• Work within industry standards to ensure safety and quality
• Complete inspection reports accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Inspector, Vehicle Technician, or Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of vehicle components and mechanical systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
• Driving license preferred (some vehicle movement required)
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
