Assistant General Manager – French Restaurant

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000

Location: NYC

I am collaborating a prominent establishment in the culinary world, known for its exquisite French cuisine and impeccable service, who is currently seeking an Assistant General Manager to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to help lead and oversee operations in a renowned dining destination, with a lot of growth opportunities, lively atmosphere, and company perks!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing the restaurant’s daily operations to ensure guests are provided with an exceptional experience
• Assist with the recruitment of team members. Provide leadership and guidance to staff, building and fostering a positive and motivating work environment
• Promptly and efficiently resolving all customer inquiries to satisfaction
• Assist with the development and implementation of financial and operational strategies to help achieve and exceed financial goals
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the restaurant to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers

Key Requirements:

• 2+ years Assistant General Manager restaurant experience
• Experience in a upscale, fine dining restaurant
• Strong people management and development skills
• Solid Negotiation and Mediation skills
• Genuine passion for the restaurant industry and a dedication to delivering memorable dining experiences to customers
