Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Meter Technician on a 6 month temporary basis.

Details:

• Meter Technician
• £14.91 per hour
• Scunthorpe / Gainsborough area

Hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Saturday
• Monday – Friday between the hours of 6:30am - 20:00pm
• Saturday between the hours of 8:00am-14:00pm

The Role:

• As a Meter Technician you will manage your own workload, so will feel like you are your own boss with the support of a big organisation behind you.
• Your day-to-day activities will include:
• Obtain accurate readings from water meters
• Carry out meter exchanges – (Full training will be provided)
• Collect meter data
• Lastly and most importantly provide excellent customer service

Your Skills:

• Experience in retail, hospitality or previous experience being on your feet for long periods
• Customer focussed individuals
• A professional image is very important - you will be provided with a uniform and a van
• The role can be physically demanding, and you can walk in the region of 3 to 8 miles per day.
• You will also use a handheld computer to carry out your work, so basic IT skills are required
• A Full UK manual driving licence
