Quality Manager - Leicester

Contract: 12-month term

Rate: DOE

We are seeking a Quality Manager with expertise in renewable energy projects, specifically Solar PV and Battery Storage. This is a contract position where you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality management across various project sites, ensuring compliance and promoting excellence within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage on-site quality for utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Storage projects, ensuring subcontractor coordination and compliance with quality and contractual standards.
• Uphold the highest HSQE standards as per UK HSE and CDM regulations.
• Implement and oversee the project Quality Plan.
• Conduct regular site quality checks, inspections, and tests to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate daily with subcontractors on quality issues and oversee quality documentation for project handover, including O&M and safety files.
• Monitor material deliveries to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Identify and report any non-conformance issues (NCRs) and risks affecting budget, schedule, or quality to the Project Management team.
• Provide weekly quality reports to the Project Quality Manager.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience with solar or battery storage projects in the UK.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management practices.
• Knowledge in civil, structural, or electrical engineering works.
• Holder of SMSTS or SSTS certification.
• CSCS card holder.
• Possession of a clean UK driving licence
