Job Description: Solar Installer

Location: Frenchie, Scotland & Peterborough, England

Position Overview: We are currently seeking skilled Solar Installers to join our team for a large-scale solar installation project at petrol stations. This project involves the installation of a 160KW solar system with potential for future work across multiple sites throughout the year. The ideal candidates will have experience in commercial solar panel installations and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Install solar panels and associated components according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Assist with site preparation, including mounting structures and electrical wiring.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure proper installation and functionality of solar systems.
• Collaborate with electricians and other team members to complete installations efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, prioritizing a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the installation process.

Requirements:

• Valid Safety Pass Alliance (SPA) passport (SPA Petrol Retail) is mandatory.
• Prior experience in commercial solar panel installations is required.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Flexibility to travel and work at multiple sites, with accommodations or extended day rate options available.
• Own tools and transportation (van) are necessary. Fuel and travel costs can be covered.

Contract Details:

• Contract day rate or monthly rate available.
• Running through own Limited Company outside IR35.
