WINNER are currently supporting an manufacturing company in their plastics division with the recruitment of their PVC Extrusion Technician, this role will be based in Barnsley, Cawthorne.

In the PVC Extrusion Technician role you will be part of an existing team who will fully train you on different areas of the manufacturing site and ensure you are upskilled on every machine for any cover when needed.

This will be a permanent role

The duties of the PVC Extrusion Technician will be:

• PVC Extrusion Technician/ Supervisor
• forces a PVC material through numerous dies in order to produce predetermined design shapes
• Basic machine maintenance
• Carrying out tool changes.
• Previous experience operating similar machinery in the plastics or packaging industry

The ideal PVC Extrusion Technician will have:

• Background in profile PVC extrusion
• Experience of mixing PVC products
• Supervisory experience is desirable

The hourly rate for the PVC Extrusion Technician is £15.52-£17.18 per hour depending on experience.

Continental shift pattern and consists of 2 weeks of days and then 2 weeks of nights with a pattern of 3 on, 2 off, 2 on 3 off, 2 on, 2 off.

12-hour shifts, 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am. You will be paid an average of 40.25 hours per week.
