Warehouse Supervisor / Manager

📍 Location: Portishead, Bristol
🕓 Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
💷 Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations. This is a hybrid position, combining practical, on-the-floor leadership with key administrative and coordination responsibilities.

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth goods in/out operations, stock accuracy, and excellent service delivery — leading by example to maintain efficiency, safety, and team morale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily warehouse operations including goods in, picking, packing, and dispatch.

• Supervise, motivate, and develop warehouse staff to achieve high standards of performance.

• Maintain stock accuracy through regular checks, system updates, and reporting.

• Ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

• Oversee the safe use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.

• Uphold health & safety standards and ensure compliance with all company procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse environment.

• Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Service) to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.

• Contribute to the improvement of warehouse systems and processes.

• Support KPI tracking and operational reporting.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role (or ready to step up into one).

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock control processes.

• Hands-on and proactive approach to work with the ability to lead by example.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

• Confident using IT systems (ERP, WMS, MS Office).

• Knowledge of health & safety and manual handling practices.

• Full UK driving licence required.

• Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
