We are currently looking for a Building Surveyor. You will be working in Southampton (SO14)

Monday - Friday

09:00am - 16:00pm 

Temp Contract - Ongoing

Pay rate - £29.13ph umbrella

Job Purpose

To assist with the management of a professional, customer focused building maintenance service in order to deliver a safe and reliable environment which will fulfil the current and future requirements of the organisation.

Main Duties

• To undertake and coordinate building maintenance projects within the terms of funding agreements / service specifications for Capital Assets
• To deliver the service within budget and in accordance with prescribed standards and timescales
• To arrange for the works to be carried out and supervise them in order to ensure compliance with specifications, monitoring the contractors performance and undertaking such inspections as may be necessary
• To participate in meetings and working groups as requested and undertake any work necessary to implement corporate or directorate initiatives
• To form effective relationships with Members, Tenants, Leaseholders and their representatives throughout the organisation
