As a Warehouse Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly and customers receive the parts and service they need. This is a varied role that combines customer support, parts handling, and operational efficiency.

Job Details

Location: Darlington, Co. Durham
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £12.50 - £13 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday (Day Shift, 40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Answering customer calls and emails, assisting with parts identification.
• Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to confirm availability and details.
• Preparing sales quotations and processing sales orders.
• Raising purchase orders and organising invoices.
• Coordinating dispatch of goods via stock or direct delivery.
• Managing goods in/out, including receipting and courier arrangements.
• Handling customer returns and refunds in line with company policy.
• Supporting internal teams with parts identification, pricing, and availability.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment.

About You

• Good education in English, Maths & IT
• Forklift licence & parts sales background (desirable, not essential)
• Organised, proactive, and safety-conscious
• Previous Warehouse Experience
