Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer (Machining) to oversee CNC machining, EDM, and CMM processes for industrial component repairs. This role focuses on the implementation and qualification of new equipment and technologies, as well as continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to ensure high safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive machining process improvements aligned with safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Support daily operations by developing detailed work instructions, conducting technician training, and troubleshooting CNC and EDM issues.
• Manage the selection, installation, and commissioning of new machines, tools, and fixtures.
• Lead the qualification process for new equipment and machining methods, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.
• Design and implement productivity and quality enhancement programs.
• Maintain thorough documentation of process development, experiments, and parametric studies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations teams to support business objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining or similar manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of tooling selection, fixture design, CAD/CAM applications, and metrology.
• Familiarity with gas turbine component repair is a strong advantage.
