Overview Our client is a leading Fortune 500 Company, who are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Instrument Technician to join theteam based at Billingham Manufacturing site. On successful appointment you will undertake routine maintenance and perform fault finding and repairs on all aspects of instrumentation. Perform the installation and commissioning of plant modifications and improvement projects both on-line and during turnarounds and events so that plant on-line availability is maintained, defects resolved, and routines are completed on-time. Essential Requirements - Experience An integral aspect of the Instrumentation Technician is the ability to locate and identify faults in a timely manner to restore plant and equipment to acceptable conditions. The wide range of possible equipment and systems also require a good knowledge of, and the ability to effectively use, an equally wide range of test and measuring equipment. Instrumentation technicians need a good understanding of engineering theory, the functions of components within systems and the effect on system operation of failure.
