We are seeking an ambitious Quality Systems Technician to join the Assembly team for our client, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, on their journey to digitalisation and Industry 4.0, in Chichester.

You would be joining a collaborative team that is working within a dynamic, fast-paced environment - constantly pursuing ways to develop our production IT systems.

The rate of pay is up to £22.06 per hour, depending on experience.

Overtime is available at this site and paid at:
- Monday to Friday x1.33 per hour
- Saturday x1.5 per hour
- Sunday x2 per hour
- Standby x0.25 per hour

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, the hours of work are:
- 7am to 3:30pm

Flexibility is required, bi-weekly standby, and occasionally may be required to work on shift.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.

Your Time at Work

Daily tasks include active problem-solving on systems, reporting, integrating engineering changes, and continuous innovation of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars production systems. You will be responsible for:

- Actively solving complex issues related to our production systems.
- Data and systems management.
- Digitisation and visualisation of plant KPIs to steer quality and production targets.
- Integrating new product changes and new model launches into our systems.
- Crafting and leading innovations linked to Industry 4.0.

To be successful in the role you will need:

- A strong ability to work under your own initiative and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Be excited to work in an ever-changing environment.
- Willing to develop new initiatives and lead system improvements.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge and application of MS Office.

It would be advantageous to have some of the following:
- Experience working with databases (SQL), and SAP Business Objects.
- Any coding experience is advantageous (Python, HTML).
- Knowledge of IT systems, Assembly processes, and Industry 4.0.
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and other manufacturing principles.
- Experience with Agile working principals.
- Experience with Power BI.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
