We're looking for an Estimator to join a growing contractor in the Surrey. The successful Estimator will work closely with the senior management team to source, review, price and secure opportunities for the business plan.

Estimator - Duties:
- Source subcontractors and suppliers capable of carrying the works specific to the project, size, complexity, and location.
- Attend tender design review meetings in order to ensure the bid team achieve the most economically advantageous bid.
- Price draft preliminaries where required in line with the tender programme and the assigned project manager for the tender.
- Take off quantities to create Bills of Quantities
- Price the measured Bills of Quantities for the scheme
- Present the financial elements for the tender Adjudication meeting
- Value engineering - provide advice and costs associated with value engineering proposals for the scheme
- Provide input in post tender queries/negotiations
- Assessing build costs.
- Experience of two stage tenders and negotiated schemes
- Liaise with the Development Department over current and future development opportunities.

Estimator - Specification:
- Degree/HNC in Quantity Surveying or other relevant qualification
- Strong commercial background within contracting in the UK
- Track record of delivering refurbishment works
- Strong interpersonal skills and good client relationships from previous position
- Good knowledge of relevant estimating software
