Senior Software Engineer, GUI and application development (C#, ASP.Net, with some C++), Oxfordshire, to mid £50Ks ish + bonus + hybrid working, excellent holiday allowance + fantastic facilities and work environment

The position involves working as part of a software R & D team designing, developing, and maintaining primarily applications, graphical and data analysis software using Microsoft Windows for position, mapping and navigation products for the automotive, autonomous vehicles and surveying / geo-mapping industries.


The role is mainly involved in full lifecycle UI and application development using Microsoft ASP.NET Core.


Essential skills -


• 3+ years experience using C# and ASP.NET is essential.

• Experience in user interface design and visualization

• Multi-threaded development and design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, IoC and client/server

• WPF and XAML objects in programming libraries, including .NET and class libraries knowledge


Nice to have -


• SQL or MySQL knowledge

• TCP/IP, UDP and sockets experience

• RESTful API and AJAX
