A new vacancy has arisen with a fairly recently established group of law firms - the company backed by investors is essentially acquiring a large number of SME law firms as they come onto the market for sale or retirement and is rapidly growing in size. The board of the company includes former directors from large Legal 100 law firms and accountancy practices.

They are looking to recruit a corporate solicitor to join them as their in house adviser, dealing with the mergers and acquisitions as they arise, together with handling the structure of the business and the various companies within the group. Looking for someone able to comfortably handle all aspects of the heads of terms, SPAs, business purchase agreements, related agreements, plus the usual regulatory work with Companies House, corporate structure and all dealings that the group has itself. May be a bit of commercial work, but the main part of this role will be handling the acquisitions and deals once concluded.
