A law firm in Cheshire are looking for a residential conveyancing locum to provide cover at their Altrincham office from 11th to 18th March 2022. This is due to the fee earner being away and will involve a mixed caseload of about 40 files. You will be expected to do the whole job - barring registrations, which are done by another person - including progressing the caseload, reporting on title/searches/mortgage, taking calls and answering emails, and managing exchanges and completions. You should be able to work largely without an assistant, although the department does have one assistant who may be able to assist with basic administrative tasks.
