A small but well established South Wales law firm is looking for a paralegal to work at their Cardiff office. The successful candidate will be dealing with matters across a number of fields of law including civil litigation, contracts, insolvency, business advice, employment, and commercial property. Experience in these fields of law is not essential as full training will be given but I suspect some litigation experience would be an advantage. The firm really want applications from LPC graduates with a minimum of 1 year's experience in a law firm. There will be scope for some element of working from home but the majority of the work will be in-office. The firm are in a position to offer a training contract and if things work out well with the successful applicant then this may well happen in the short to medium term. So there are career development propspects but they do not want candidates applying purely to get a training contract because they have been honest in saying that it is by no means guaranteed but there is a genuine possibility if the successful applicant impresses. The role will be full-time, permanent and salary will be 25k to 30k depending on experience.
