Electrical Technician - Anaerobic Digestion

£50,000 plus overtime & benefits

MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician / Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, to join an established maintenance team based on a 24/7 process plant in Mitcham. Working on a days, Monday to Friday, basis, with an on call rota, you will play a key part in maintaining and improving plant and equipment to minimise downtime and ensure continuous operations.

As the Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Diagnose and repair of electrical systems (motors, PLCs, control panels, sensors).
• Perform PPMs, troubleshooting and fault-finding.
• Mechanical maintenance on pumps, conveyors, pneumatics, etc.
• Support installations, upgrades, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Participating in a call out rota.
• Other duties as required.

To be considered for the role, you should have:

• NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong fault-finding experience in industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• PLC knowledge (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
• CMMS experience
• 18^th Edition essential
• Mechanical qualification desirable
