Graduate History Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting History lessons across a range of year groups
  • Assisting students with understanding key historical events and concepts
  • Leading small-group interventions and 1:1 support sessions
  • Helping to prepare engaging lesson materials and resources
  • Encouraging critical thinking, debate, and a love of history
  • Supporting classroom behaviour and pupil engagement
  • Getting involved in extra-curricular history clubs or enrichment days

Graduate History Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:1 or above in History, Politics, or a related discipline
  • Passion for history and education
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, professional, and proactive mindset
  • Ambition to pursue a career in teaching or educational support
