£22,000 base salary with on targets earnings of £30,000 with commission

Our client, a leading automotive company, is looking for an ambitious and driven Customer Service Advisor to expand their existing team.  You would be joining a busy, sociable contact centre, working at beating heart of the company which prides itself on service and collaboration to provide solutions for their clients.  You will be responsible for answering calls and up-selling services available to customers who contact you.  To be suitable, you will have great telephone skills and some sales experience, whether that comes from a hospitality, retail or office environment. Full training and support will be given.  

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be an integral member of the team. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide a premium experience to all our customers, you will be the first point of contact within our customer aftersales journey and set the precedent
  • Achieve set realistic targets for call volumes through both inbound calls and outbound prospecting
  • Use internal systems to be able to accurately advise maintenance items due, as duty of care to our customers
  • Manage time productively to be able to answer inbound calls quickly and efficiently
  • Ensuring data capture is completed from customers to maintain accuracy of their details and in line with GDPR
  • Answering inbound calls from customers wanting services, with the aim of up-selling the services available
  • Dealing with inbound emails providing support to customers
  • Updating and maintaining the database with all customer and claims information

To be suitable, you will demonstrate the following skills and experiences: 

  • Confident telephone manner
  • Sales experience is a plus, ideally over the phone 
  • No prior experience needed in this exact role but computer skills are essential
  • A background in hospitality or customer-facing retail is welcomed 
  • A helpful, positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a team but alone when necessary
  • Well organised
  • Able to deliver high standards of service
  • Willingness to learn
