Job Title: Senior Engineer - Mechanical (Offshore Operations Forum)

We are assisting a major player in the energy industry to find a Senior Engineer to lead and coordinate the Offshore Operations Forum (OOF) and other inter-operator platforms. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and implementing synergies across assets to achieve operational excellence and promote safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and update the offshore operations forum's governance terms and sharing agreements, ensuring transparency and accountability among all stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive meeting materials such as agendas, presentations, and documentation to ensure all participants are well-informed and prepared for discussions.
• Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of forum initiatives and monitor progress.
• Analyze and compile data to produce detailed reports, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Organise and facilitate brainstorming sessions to encourage participants to generate innovative ideas and synergy initiatives.
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and partnership across the industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with forum members and industry stakeholders, ensuring open communication and collaboration on key issues.

   

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering and operations-related fields within the energy industry or closely related sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, with experience in operations or equivalent relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE management and industry best practices within the energy sector.
• Excellent communication and soft skills, with experience in influencing and negotiation.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and project management skills.
• Proficient in data analysis and report generation, with a strong understanding of KPIs and performance metrics.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and engage with diverse stakeholders.
