What You’ll Be Doing - Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant

As a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Work across Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2 depending on your strengths
• Support individual pupils or small groups with reading, writing, maths, and more
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery, classroom organisation, and behaviour support
• Help create a positive, engaging learning environment
• Contribute to pupils’ academic and emotional development

• Holds a 2:1 degree or higher in any subject (Education, Psychology, or English are especially relevant)
• Has a genuine interest in working with children and supporting their development
• Communicates clearly and confidently
• May have some experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or volunteering)
• Is enthusiastic, dependable, and eager to learn
