MDE is assisting a long-standing client in their search for a proactive and results-driven Project Manager who can lead the successful delivery of solar energy projects in both residential and commercial settings. From initial client engagement to project completion, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth execution and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

We are keen for both office-based coordinator project managers and site-based construction project managers to apply!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of solar PV projects, from planning and execution to final handover.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure alignment and seamless delivery.

  • Plan and allocate resources effectively while tracking budgets to maintain financial and operational efficiency.

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth progress.

  • Leverage data and reporting tools to track progress, resolve issues, and manage scope changes.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business opportunities.

  • Contribute to identifying and advancing new business leads and opportunities for growth.

What we’re looking for:

  • Solid understanding of Solar PV systems, with additional knowledge of battery storage and EV systems as a plus.

  • A minimum of 2+ years managing residential and/or commercial solar projects.

  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and maintain attention to detail.

  • Strong ability to lead teams and coordinate with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication at all levels.

  • A collaborative leader who inspires teams and drives high-quality outcomes.

  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, takes a hands-on approach, and seeks continuous improvement.

  • Familiarity with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and risk management practices.

  • Skilled in managing third-party relationships and contracts.
