A growing manufacturer on the outskirts of Birmingham are actively seeking a Continuous Improvement Officer to join them on a full time and permanent basis. Role

• Collaborate with site management to implement and uphold Excellence system standards.
• Train direct and indirect personnel on fundamental lean principles, including 5S and the 8 wastes.
• Partner with site managers to enhance material flow.
• Coordinate with the planning department to identify and address capacity concerns across the business.
• Develop action plans for improvements with potential cost savings and provide weekly performance updates.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical and software skills
• Six Sigma/Lean (Yellow+)
• Knowledge of 5s and 8 wastes as well as 8D problem solving
• Experience within plastics manufacturing beneficial.
