What is the role?

An opportunity to work in a team delivering automation projects established clients. You will work through the whole lifecycle of the project from completing design through to commissioning and handover.

We are looking for Junior control engineers to join across Cheshire.

Features of the Role

• Producing functional design specifications of PLC and SCADA packages as well as factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing and commissioning.
• Ensure projects are on track and completed within the time and budgets set.
• Ensure Engineering and Design activities meets all national and international standards, client's requirements and 'best' engineering practice.

Key requirements

• A years experience in an automation or control systems role.
• Understanding of safe working practices.Experience with PLC development & HMI's using at least two manufacturers' devices from Rockwell, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
• Experience with multiple communication protocols; EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, PROFIBUS DP and PA, Modbus TCP/IP (preferable)
• Experience working with SCADA systems.
• Experience working with VSDs.
• Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence.
