Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Forklift Instructor to work in their leading facility in Wrexham.

For the successful Forklift Instructor our client is offering:

  1. Starting salary between 28,000 to £30,000 per annum (D.O.E)
  2. Day shifts Monday - Friday - 8:00am-5pm- flexibility required to do Monday to Friday 3pm-8pm on occasions 
  3. Permanent position

The role – Forklift Instructor:

  1. Responsible for conducting training programmes on materials handling equipment and operating procedures.
  2. Ensuring that trainees acquire the necessary skills to work safely and competently.
  3. Developing training materials, providing feedback to trainees and maintaining training records.
  4. Delivering instructions & assessments to meet business objectives
  5. Building strong relationships with Colleagues
  6. Moving the role forward to deliver training across different areas of the business
  7. Ensuring SHEQ requirements are met, including Training/Non Training meet legislative requirements

What our client is looking for in a Forklift Instructor:

  1. RTITB and/or NPORS instructor qualifications - ESSENTIAL
  2. CB, Reach, PPT Operators certification - ESSENTIAL 
  3. Experience in delivering training programmes for MHE and operating procedures- ESSENTIAL 
  4. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workplace
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback
  7. Experience in transport, logistics, and/or warehouse industries is a plus.
