An opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to join a traditional contractor on a permanent, full time basis.

In this role as a Site Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of new build and refurbishment projects to the high end, bespoke residential sector.

Site Manager responsibilities:

• Site set up.
• Site paperwork, site diary.
• Inductions.
• Management of direct site staff and subcontractors.
• Coordination of works to programme.
• Chairing site meetings.
• Client liaison.
• Short term programming.
• Promoting and enforcing Health & Safety.
• Order of plant, materials and labour.
• Snagging.
• Reporting to visiting Contracts Manager.

Site Manager Criteria:

• Trade Apprenticeship
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Good contractual knowledge.
• Awareness of standard pre-construction processes and relevant SHE regulations.
• Comprehensive technical and construction knowledge.
• Experience in programming software (Elecosoft power project preferred).
• Construction based Higher Education Qualification (desirable).
• Member of a Professional body – Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) (desirable).
