A law firm in Cheshire are looking for a residential conveyancing locum to provide cover at their Altrincham office from Monday 4th April to Friday 14th May. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00-17:00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak between 13:00 and 14:00.

The caseload is a mix of residential sales and purchases with a couple of SDLT reclaims. There are approximately 40 active files. The firm work from paper files and Proclaim. There is a junior assistant who can help with admin tasks such as opening and closing files, ordering searches and redemption statements etc. However, all substantive work and client contact will need to be undertaken by the locum. Registrations are dealt with by another department.
