CLASS 2 BIN LORRY DRIVER ( OXTED RH8) 

KPI are looking to bring on board a Class 2 Driver who may or may not have experience of driving a Bin Lorry .

HGV Class 2 Driver

Job location: Oxted, RH8 

Shift pattern: Tuesday - Friday 6.00 am till 4:30pm ( 4 Days )

 HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our successful client based in the Tandridge, Oxted, RH8 area. Our client who specialises in Waste Management is transforming waste into valuable resources and lessening its impact on the environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The right person will be responsible for driving the refuse lorry and assisting loaders with collecting/emptying bins from residential premises, returning them where necessary, and ensuring all additional work and missed bins are completed. We prioritise safety and efficiency in our operations, providing necessary training and PPE to ensure a professional and secure working environment.

A minimum 3 months experience within last 6 months in HGV Class 2 driving is essential.

  • Drive and operate a class 2 dustcart, refuse lorry, or bin lorry
  • Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week
  • Ensure completion of all additional work and missed bins
  • Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins
  • Work as part of a small team

Person Specification:

  • UK HGV Class 2 driving licence (minimum 6 months)
  • Digital tachograph card & CPC card
  • Ability to provide a professional waste management service to residential customers
  • Keen and eager to learn new skills
  • Excellent, professional work ethic
  • Good team working skills and good communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
