We’re partnering with a welcoming Warwickshire school to recruit a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant who will provide essential academic, emotional, and social support to pupils with additional needs.

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What’s on Offer:

  • Earn up to £570 per week (term-time only)
  • Start date: Immediate or September 2025
  • Monday to Friday – full-time, long-term role

  • Support pupils with a variety of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and SEMH

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Your Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group academic and pastoral support
  • Create a calm, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
  • Adapt lesson materials to match individual learning styles and abilities
  • Build positive relationships to foster independence, self-confidence, and resilience
  • Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCo, and external specialists
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and mental health development

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Ideal Candidate:

  • A 2:1 degree or above in any subject (Psychology, Education, or related fields preferred)
  • Strong commitment to inclusive education and pupil progress
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with young people (mentoring, tutoring, volunteering) is beneficial
  • Patient, proactive, and dedicated to making a meaningful impact
