German-speaking Financial Controller – Remich <br><br>

We are currently seeking a Junior Financial Controller on behalf of one of our clients. Located near the German border, the company operates in the industrial construction sector. With a client base primarily composed of private and public enterprises, the company builds bridges, factories, roads, and other major construction projects.

The group’s entire financial management is handled from the south-east of Luxembourg, despite its international presence, notably in various European countries. The company plans to continue expanding across multiple continents, and it is in this context that they are looking for a financial professional capable of supporting this growth.<br><br>

Your Responsibilities | Training - Travel

As a Junior Financial Controller at the group level, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and controlling the finances of the group’s subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with internal standards and local regulations
• Participating in the preparation of consolidated financial reports for management
• Analyzing budget variances and proposing corrective actions
• Working closely with on-site accounting and operational teams
• Contributing to the optimization of financial processes and the implementation of best practices
• Making occasional trips to various European subsidiaries to support local teams
• Participating in internal and external audits
• Supporting the group’s development and international expansion projects<br><br>

Profile and Career Path | Training - Travel

To succeed in this position, you will need:

• A perfect command of English and German
• Proficiency in French is a considerable asset for your application
• Knowledge of any other European language, or Arabic, will also be taken into account to a lesser extent
• Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage, but is not mandatory
• The ability to travel occasionally to the group’s subsidiaries across Europe<br><br>
