A nurturing and inclusive primary school in Birmingham is seeking a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This is an ideal role for a graduate who is enthusiastic, patient, and excited to help children thrive academically and socially.

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support in phonics, numeracy, and literacy
  • Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom management
  • Helping to monitor student progress and well-being
  • Creating a nurturing and positive classroom atmosphere
  • Encouraging play-based learning, creativity, and curiosity
  • Supporting with school events, activities, and interventions

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:1 or above in a relevant degree (Education, Psychology, English, etc.)
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them learn
  • Previous experience working with young people is a bonus
  • Strong communication, patience, and empathy
  • A flexible and proactive attitude
  • Ambition to pursue a career in primary teaching or child development
