Location of Works: Home based, Ideal location being Midlands

The Company:

We’re working on behalf of a leading UK fire and security solutions provider that’s expanding its national sales team. They’re looking to recruit an experienced Fire, Fire Suppression Sales Manager to help drive growth across their suppression and fire systems offering.

This is a home-based role with national travel (ideal candidate location: Midlands to just north of the M25), offering a generous package and significant career development potential.

As a Fire Suppression Sales Manager your package could look like:

  • Basic Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 (DOE)

As a Fire Suppression Sales Manager your main responsibilities will be:

  • Promote and sell fire suppression systems, fire detection, and life safety solutions
  • Identify and develop new business with end users, M&E contractors, builders, consultants, and electrical contractors
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, site visits, quotations, and closing deals
  • Collaborate with internal estimating and bid teams to deliver compliant and competitive proposals
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and a rolling three-month sales forecast
  • Keep up to date with fire safety legislation, product changes, and industry trends
  • Attend client meetings, ASTs, and internal sales strategy sessions
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs

As a Fire Suppression Sales Manager your knowledge and experience will be:

  • A proven sales track record within the fire suppression or fire & security industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of suppression systems (e.g. gas, mist, water-based)
  • Good understanding of BS, EN, and ISO standards relevant to fire protection
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365, CRM systems, and sales tools
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, able to manage their own pipeline
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK
