“May your rice bowl always be full.”

Are you a passionate, driven, and creative Head Chef ready to lead the kitchen of a bold, beautiful new opening in one of London’s most iconic destinations? This is your chance to help shape something extraordinary from the ground up.

We’re launching a flagship restaurant and bar celebrating Chinese home cooking — soulful, nourishing, vibrant, and reimagined for the modern, wellness-conscious diner. Following a series of acclaimed pop-ups, the time has come to bring our vision to life — and we’re looking for a visionary Head Chef to lead the way.

About Us:
Rooted in a proud culinary legacy, our concept is built on honest, wholesome Cantonese dishes, steeped in tradition yet redefined for today. Think bold broths, silky tofu, root-to-stem vegetables, slow-cooked meats, and the kind of food you'd be lucky to get at your Chinese best friend’s home.

The Role:
As Head Chef, you’ll be the heartbeat of the kitchen — leading a passionate team, crafting beautiful dishes, and embedding a culture of excellence, joy, and respect.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the kitchen opening — from setup to service

  • Designing a menu rooted in authentic Cantonese home cooking, with room for innovation and wellness-led twists

  • Collaborating with the founder on evolving seasonal menus

  • Recruiting, mentoring, and inspiring a talented brigade

  • Championing sustainability, quality produce, and zero waste

  • Maintaining impeccable food safety and hygiene standards

  • Managing kitchen budgets, food costs, and supplier relationships

  • Upholding a calm, creative and well-organised kitchen environment (NO EGOS)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a busy, quality-focused kitchen

  • A deep understanding and love of Chinese flavours, traditions, and techniques

  • A proactive leader with excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Passion for creativity, seasonality, and food that nourishes body and soul

  • Commitment to team development, sustainability, and innovation

  • Calm under pressure, quality-obsessed, and solutions-oriented
