About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is excited to be recruiting for a passionate and dynamic Physics Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Deal. The successful candidate will have the chance to nurture young minds, help them develop a deep understanding of physics, and ignite their passion for the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages students to achieve their potential.
• Assess, record, and report on the progress and development of students.
• Support students in their academic journey, helping them to prepare for GCSE and A-Level exams.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure the best learning outcomes.
• Participate in department meetings, extra-curricular activities, and school events.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Physics or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the KS3, KS4, and KS5 Physics curriculum.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable:

• Experience teaching Physics at both GCSE and A-Level.
• A commitment to continued professional development.
