A Kent law firm have a position for a full-time Insurance Recovery Handler based initially at their office in Orpington with the option for hybrid working following a settling in period. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating claims on behalf of insurers in order to recover compensation relating to road traffic accidents.
 
Role involves:
·Managing and processing insurance claims from first notification of the accident
·Investigate claims by gathering evidence such as police reports and CCTV footage to support liability decisions
·Updating the firms and insurers case management systems as to progress
·Liaising with relevant parties such as the insurer, policy holder and solicitors on a regular basis
·Be the point of call for the claim, answering calls and dealing with queries as they arise
 
Required skills:
·Excellent communication and customer service skills
·Attention to detail and organisational skills
·Good IT skills
·Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
·Prior office admin experience beneficial
·Any prior claims experience a bonus but not essential as full training can be given
