Electrical Quality Manager

£40,000-£50,000 + great benefits and bonus 

Remote and site-based 

 

MDE is supporting a UK renewables EPC recruit for a Electrical Quality Manager to oversee a number of renewable projects in the UK. 

The ideal candidate would be an electrically qualified indidivdual with experience working on renewable projects who is looking to come off the tools. Strong understanding of best practice and quality management is required, SMSTS is preferable but not essential. We are open to hearing from a range of candidates for this position, therefore, if you are unsure if your a match, drop MDE group a call to run over at length. 

Responsibilties: 

  • Lead on-site quality management for utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Storage projects.
  • Evaluate installation works for adherence to quality standards in collaboration with project engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with top-tier HSQE standards and UK HSE/CDM regulations.
  • Execute project Quality Plan with precision and efficiency.
  • Conduct timely quality assessments, inspections, and tests.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors on daily quality-related tasks.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive site quality documentation for project handover.
  • Report weekly to Project Quality Manager on site quality progress.

You will require 

  • Previous experience carrying out the above responsibilities
  • Electrical qualifications and experience on industrial installations
  • Full UK driving lisence 
  • Right to work in the UK
