Are you an experienced CNC Turner/Programmer looking to join a well-established and forward-thinking precision engineering business? Our client, a respected organisation within the engineering sector, is seeking a skilled individual to strengthen their team.

The Role:

As a CNC Turner/Programmer, you will be responsible for producing precision components to exacting customer specifications and to AS9100 quality standards. You will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes (with driven tooling).

• Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings with a strong understanding of geometric dimensions & tolerances.

• Creating, loading, examining, and modifying CNC programmes.

• Conducting in-process inspections and ensuring quality throughout production.

• Using a wide range of precision measuring equipment.

• Maintaining high standards of organisation, punctuality, and safety.

The Candidate:

• Experienced CNC Turner with programming capability (MAPPS/CAPS knowledge desirable but not essential).

• Strong background in precision engineering and working to tight tolerances.

• Ability to work within a team or autonomously.

• Quality-conscious with a positive and proactive attitude.
