Chief Engineer – 5-Star Luxury Resort | Caribbean

A prestigious 5-star luxury resort in the Caribbean is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our engineering and maintenance operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a world-class property in one of the most desirable island destinations.

Key Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience in 5-star luxury resorts

• Caribbean or remote island experience is essential

• Strong technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building systems

• Hands-on, solutions-driven leader with excellent team management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy systems across the resort

• Lead, train, and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure high performance and safety standards

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life

• Manage departmental budgets, capital projects, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

• Collaborate with resort leadership to support sustainability initiatives and maintain 5-star guest satisfaction

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary: USD $85,000 – $95,000
