Yard Supervisor – Drive Progress at Portbury

Are you ready to take the next step in your management career? We’re looking for a proactive and motivated Yard Supervisor to join our busy Portbury site. You’ll be central to keeping things running smoothly – from managing vehicle storage and ship discharges to supporting and developing your team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading and motivating Yard Foremen to deliver results on time.
• Ensuring vehicles are stored safely, efficiently, and to customer standards.
• Building strong communication lines with customers, carriers, and port authorities.
• Taking ownership of incident investigations and reporting.
• Helping to shape the future of our operations with new ideas, better systems, and sustainable practices.
• Playing a hands-on role in staff training, development, and HR processes.
• Stepping up as Yard Manager when required.

• Someone who thrives on responsibility and is keen to develop their management abilities.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and open to learning industry-specific IT systems.
