KPI Recruiting is working with a leading event furniture hire company based in London, specialising in high-quality furniture and equipment for events of all sizes. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 Driver to join the logistics team.

As an HGV 2 Driver, you will be working Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:00, with flexibility required based on client needs and event schedules. You will play a crucial role in delivering and collecting event equipment safely and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport furniture and equipment to and from event venues
• Load and unload items, ensuring safe handling and secure transportation
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any issues
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all relevant paperwork
• Adhere to road safety laws and company transport policies
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Support warehouse operations when needed

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience driving HGV vehicles, preferably in a logistics or events environment
• Good communication skills and a professional manner
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Flexible with working hours
