About the role

Connex Education is working with a school within the St Ralph Sherwin Trust in Derby who are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with special educational needs in a nurturing and supportive environment.

About the schools

The school caters for pupils with a range of SEN needs. All staff at the school aim to provide pupils with a nurturing and engaging learning environment. They are looking for a  SEN TA who is hard-working, resilient and who wants to make a difference to pupils' education by supporting them.

Assignment Details

Person Specification

• Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs in Primary settings
• Be willing to provide personal care if required
• Be confident in working with challenging SEN needs 
• Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
