We have the pleasure of recruiting on behalf of a market-leading business known for producing the best quality product on the market.  Backed by historical innovation and strong customer relationships, they are looking to expand and focus on their digital capabilities.  As such, they are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Head of E-Commerce to lead a step change in how they sell and convert customer online. 

This is a senior role focused on modernising and growing the company's B2B e-commerce capability. You will assess current platforms and processes, define a future-focused digital strategy, and deliver commercial results.  Working closely with the leadership team, you'll ensure e-commerce becomes a key driver of revenue, efficiency, and competitive advantage. 

Key responsibilities:

• Define and implement a high-impact B2B e-commerce strategy that supports business growth and enhances the customer experience.
• Conduct a detailed review of existing platforms, identifying opportunities to improve functionality, usability, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with the leadership team to align digital initiatives with wider business and operational goals.
• Drive measurable increases in online sales, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee SEO optimisation and digital discoverability to increase visibility and qualified traffic
• Use data and analytics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and report on ROI.

Requirements:

• Be proactive with ideas and lead from the front - a true partner for the leadership team.
• Senior-level experience in B2B e-commerce or digital leadership, from a business which focuses on e-commerce. 
• Strong track record of delivering commercial results and digital transformation.
• Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, SEO, and system integration.
• Highly analytical and data driven.
